Throughout October for #BlackHistoryMonthUK, Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds, UK – In a collaboration with his daughter Khemi Shabazz – is celebrating the life and work of bfmmag.com founder Menelik Shabazz – a pioneer in development of Black British Cinema and showcasing some of the filmmaker’s most iconic works.
Hyde Park Picture House is highlighting some of his most important works including The Story of Lovers Rock and his groundbreaking debut feature, Burning an Illusion.
